Aunt to Leslie, Scott, Eric and Aaron. Friend to many. Lover of life and all that God paints in this gorgeous world, from a rain drop on a leaf to the majesty of a mountain.
Hobbies: I love flea markets and looking for things to decorate the abode with. Antique glassware is fun to collect; pyrex and depression glass. Also like old linens from the 1940’s and 1950’s. Painting is self taught, and a hobby I need to start up again. Like to read good fiction or autobiographies of historical people. Also enjoy Donald Miller and the emergent church ideas, although I don’t agree with everthing in that movement. Have a 4 legged Boston Terrier named Mikey. He is a precious addition to our small family and he offers many happy moments and keeps me company when Rich works late.
Church: Grew up Church of Christ, recently moved to the Baptist church. Baptist church fits us where we are now. Would not be opposed to going back to the CofC, but it would have to be somewhere else besides where we live now. Main thing, Jesus Christ is Lord of all.
Work: varied past work history as Admin. Asst. Currently with ConocoPhillips in Midland, Texas as an Admin. Love my job and the people I work with, they are kind, caring, and always ready to help if you need assistance. The benefits are AWESOME!
Married to Rich. What can I say, he is so good to me and we have the best conversations and truly enjoy one another’s presence. We met in January 2002 and married in August 29, 2003. Small wedding in the minister’s office, nothing big for the 2nd time. He is a purchasing specialist with an oil related business. We look forward to many years together and our passion is the grandchildren and someday, traveling the USA in a 5th wheel.
Life is good, and God is better; and I look forward to the rest of this life and the next life is going to be the absolute best!
